In the midst of the lawsuit between Epic Games and Apple, the fourth season of Fortnite, the second chapter, was launched. As some rumors have previously suggested, the season will be marked by Marvel characters including famous heroes and some villains. The season will be called the Nexus War.
Among the confirmed characters, for now, are Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Groot, She-Hulk, Mystique, Storm, and Doctor Doom. They came into the world of Fortnite to help the characters from Fortnite prevent the arrival of Galactus, the great villain who devours the worlds. Of course, with the new season comes the new Battle Pass, which will allow players to unlock superhero costumes so they can run around and say “I’m Iron Man!”
With each new season comes a series of changes in weapons, items, locations, and game mechanics. As usual, Epic Games has made significant adjustments in this new season.
The new season also brings some new tricks. Some of these races are Shockwave Bounce Pad and Crash Pad Bounce. To pick up prey safely, you must throw the Shockwave and pick up the prey quickly. Also, players can now use mythical weapons.
Fortnite Season 4 contains some of the most powerful and strongest Marvel heroes. It’s getting more chaotic as all players have access to superpowers like Groot’s Bramble Shield and Silver Surfer’s Board. As usual, in order to have the strongest characters, you will need to reach a certain level and meet some of the challenges.
Players can unlock Mystique, the masking master from level 80, but they must fight the enemy to get everything they need to do so. There are also many more things you can unlock.
In the first week of the Nexus War, players must defeat Dr. Doom three times, who probably has the most skins on the Battle Pass. Players also have to struggle through a multitude of challenges with Wolverine and related things to win their skins.
The most exciting changes on the map are Helicarrier and Sentinel Graveyard. Helicarrier, an autonomous vehicle that can be used in the air or at sea. The first thing players realize when they travel to Loot Lake are purple robots who like eagles hunt and kill Marvel players. This is actually a cemetery filled with mech robots similar to those from the 1990s X-Men cartoons.
Dr. Doom rebuilt one of the old houses in the castle and named it Doom's Domain. The house contains additional rooms and levels.
Fortnite season 4 presents new weapons. Some of the finest weapons on display include the mystical Doctor Doom bomb, the Silver Surfer Board, the Stark Industries Energy Rifle, and Groot's Bramble Shield. Players can acquire weapons by destroying enemies and shooting at Stark Supply Drones.
Although not available on Apple devices, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 greatly expands the content. Introducing Marvel's powers, powerful mythical weapons, and limited modes of operation, Epic Games brings a lot for players to learn.
